People of the Hmong Tribes

Green Chilli Dip (Nam Prick Num)

Nam Prick Num means “dip made of young chilli peppers” and it’s taste proves that not every chilli dip has to be hot and spicy. When prepared in the correct way it tastes mild and refreshing. Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday Celebration

The celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birthday (Mawlid an-Nabi) is very common among Muslims and it takes place on the 12th day of the third month of the Muslim calendar, which was this year on 12th of July. What is interesting, some countries, mostly Saudi Arabia discourage the celebration of Muhammad’s birthday since it is often the occasion for the excessive veneration (it is kind of behavior which is against Muslims’ rules).
